--insulatory thermo-dynamics--

    the fur of a sheep is warm, due to the air( atmospheres), being trapped
in between the sheep( heat source), and the convection of incoming cold air molecules,
and exiting warm air molecules( radiating heat)--

   the more atmospheres( slightly, separated from each other), the slower the convection,
and the greater the "r" value we perceive...
