--the rings of saturn--

the coffee shop is closing soon, but here is the general idea--

         --the rings of Saturn--

i feel that the rings of Saturn are the remainder of a larger moon, that was in geo-sync orbit with Saturn, but in an orbit that was farther away than the moon that is still there(as the destroyed moon was larger than the one that remains...see "distance to geo-sync" post), before being struck by an asteroid--
this moon was shattered, but the fragments left over, after the collision , then "flew in formation" , in geo-sync with Saturn...breaking up(like rocks, in a rock tumbler), slowly aligning themselves, from lightest(closest to Saturn), to heaviest(farthest from Saturn), into the rings we see today(for more detailed information, and numbers to crunch this problem, see my "distance to geo-sync" post)--
yes, there is a moon that seems larger than the rings(visually), closer to the surface of Saturn...but 360 degrees, from the center of Saturn, to the outer rings, is a long distance...and the size of one degree, on a wheel that far from the center, is great...
meaning, 1 degree of the rings of Saturn, is far more weight, than the moon that still flies in geo-sync orbit, closest to it...(for a more detailed explanation of this concept, see "planet formation" and "distance to geo-sync" posts)--

        --best wishes, john kruschke--
